The former president of the United States, Bill Clinton, is on vacation in the Dominican Republic and has been seen on Saona Island and other tourist places in the eastern region.
The 42nd president of the United States was photographed at a time when he was sharing with his friend and host, businessman Rolando González Bunster.
Along with Bunster, he toured Saona Island, enjoying the charms of Mano Juan, after visiting the facilities, solar panels and CPEM plant in Bayahíbe, owned by his close friend.
Clinton and Bunters have been friends for years, even a son of González Bunster is Clinton’s godson. The businessman of Argentine origin, considered one of the largest electricity providers in the country, is the president and CEO of InterEnergy Group, owner of the company CPEM that supplies energy in the Bávaro-Punta Cana area.
Clinton was friendly and took pictures with residents and tourists who met on Saona Island. A discreet and effective security operation was set up on the route of the former US president.
The energy supply company headed by Gonzáles Bunster, InterEnergy Group, is an energy multinational with headquarters in the United Kingdom and subsidiaries in various countries including Panama, Chile, Jamaica and Uruguay and the Dominican Republic.
