Casa de Campo Resort & Villas, home to the best golf experiences in the Caribbean, has been selected by British Vogue as one of the reasons why you should visit the country.
Some may have seen on social media last week that the Dominican Republic was recently a “trending topic,” due to a photo posted by British Vogue. In response to this, many people in the country took on the task of showing the world beauties of our island.
On Friday, one of the magazine’s editors published an article recounting her experiences after living four years in the country and lists 10 reasons why everyone should include the Dominican Republic on their must-visit list.
The author, Lucile Tranzer Hugo, has classified her time here as “one of the most enriching experiences of my life” and highlights the most emblematic places in our country. “From the country’s rich history to the wonderfully diverse cultural mix, to the truly amazing beaches, there will always be a special place in my heart for the island.” states the author.
In her publication, she invites tourists to discover the country through our wonderful beaches, ecological and cultural experiences, as well as various fun activities. In her list she includes different paradisiacal destinations such as Las Terrenas, Isla Saona, the old city of Santo Domingo, Bahía de las Águilas, and our very own slice of paradise Casa de Campo highlighting the following:
“This five-star resort on the south of the island is the go-to luxury destination in the Dominican Republic, with a marina and championship golf courses, including the Teeth of the Dog course which is consistently ranked among the top 50 golf courses in the world. While you’re there, enjoy a concert in the Altos De Chavón Amphitheater, a venue in the heart of a full-scale replica of a Mediterranean 16th-century village.”
Without a doubt, as many say “This country has it all!” To read the full article you can click on this link.
